A handful of students and staff at HWC responded anonymously to various questions posed to them regarding the pandemic. Pie chart graphics have been created to display the information gathered.
Most people at HWC felt that the pandemic would persist through this year, despite the dramatic drop in COVID-19 cases and deaths seen in recent weeks.
Half of students and staff were divided on whether or not they plan on wearing a mask in places where it’s not required.
A resounding endorsement for HWC’s pandemic preparedness and response was seen, according to the majority of those polled regarding personal comfort levels.
As the pandemic subsides in terms of casecounts, so too does the virus’s perceived severity according to those polled, with only 6% of respondents “very concerned” about COVID-19.
